Roles and Responsibility

 

Position: Regional Sales Manager (South)

Reporting to: Sr.VP & Top Management

Dept: GT Sales

Base Location: Bangalore

Experience: 18 years to 30 years  (Min 10 to 12 years in FMCG & Currently working in a Managerial Role and handling a Team)

Industry: FMCG / Dairy

 

         Responsible for Sales and Business Development of Region

         Identification & Appointment of Distributor's in new and existing areas and develop distributor's

         Develop market intelligence and expansion of distribution network distributor's

         Channel Sales Management

         Team Management

         Responsible for Primary and Secondary Sales

         Responsible for collection in time and follow-up of out standings

         Have a good understanding of Data Management / Sales Reports / MIS

         Implement Brand Building, Marketing and Sales Promotion Activities for the Region

         Should be able to establish focus for the team, implement strategy and develop new markets and grow the existing market

         Setting sales objective targets (volume/value, product and territory wise, new product focused sales)

         Work with Category / Brand Manager to develop field marketing targets and plans for user/influencer activation

         Execution of new product launches and work with Category Managers for collection of post- launch feedback

         Effective Accounts Receivables management

         To conduct market surveys to understand the sales potential of areas and get competitors details & market share and strategies adopted by them periodically

         Training / handholding / development of the team and review their skill and competency gap on a periodic basis and suggest appropriate training methods / modules for improving the employee’s skills and competency.

         Collect, capture and convey feedback to HO on all aspects of the business (including product quality, pricing, packing, new product ideas, supply situations, competition activities, schemes, etc.) across channel, users, influencers, field employees
